Sam is a cartoonist and comics-journalist based in Melbourne. He has been producing politically engaged artwork for around 15 years. His comics-journalism has has published in the Guardian, the New York Times, the ABC, SBS and Overland. Three of his long-form journalistic comics have been nominated for Walkley Awards; one received the 2014 Human Rights Award in the Media category. He was previously an NUW delegate and organiser, and is an active member of Workers Solidarity, the MEAA and UWU.
